Launching 'Disruption and Democracy' on Forbes

On February 1st, I will be launching a column on Forbes.com titled Disruption and Democracy:

These days, we are constantly hearing about a new development or breakthrough that promises to change our world. Most of the time, it’s just hype. But sometimes, despite the odds, it happens – and a new idea or product transforms the way an entire industry works. Today’s world is one of rapid change and far-reaching consequences. The types of disruptions that used to occur once in an era or generation in the past are now happening in a matter of years or months. Along the way, important opportunities, challenges, and questions will arise. How we handle these changes will shape whether they actually lead to positive outcomes.
